Hud 11:56
إِنِّى تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّى وَرَبِّكُم ۚ مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ ءَاخِذٌۢ بِنَاصِيَتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no moving creature but He holds it by its forelock[27]. My Lord is on a straight path[28].
[27] i.e., Allah is in full control over all His creatures. [28] The path of Truth and Justice, as He Almighty does not deal anyone wrongfully.Al-Alaq 96:15
كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
No indeed; if he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock[5]
[5] To the Hellfire.Al-Alaq 96:16
نَاصِيَةٍ كَـٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ
a lying, sinful forelock[6].
[6] It alludes to the frontal lobe of the brain, where reasoning is processed.
