عن عائشة قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «ما خُيِّر عَمَّار بين أمرين إلَّا اختار أرشدَهما».
‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Never was ‘Ammār given a choice between two matters except that he chose the one that is more rightly-guided."
This Hadīth shows the merit of the great Companion ‘Ammār ibn Yāsir (may Allah be pleased with him). Whenever he was given the choice between two matters, he would choose the more righteous and closer to the truth of the two.
